from graphic designers to engineers, the design world is serving our communities in ways not often recognized
take design educator KT Meaney for example. his students spent a semester partnered with a non-profit organization, Hip Hop Haven, to construct space for inner-city youth to take classes and provide help with homework. at Purdue University, there is an Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program in which students provide technical expertise to nonprofit agencies.

our new conference room windows are letting natural light in our construction cave...and our new storage room has four solid walls! we are beginning to see the light at the end of the drywall tunnel.
chicago in ruins
lindsay hauled to chicago for a long weekend of music and movie stars! lindsay, jeremy, and a close friend spread their wings in the windy city seeing the kings of leon concert. what they didn’t expect was to run into the set of transformers 3! in the middle of the chicago streets, the trio stumbled upon the set ruins and what appears to be the backside of patrick dempsey in the photo. allegedly shia labeouf was seen just on the opposite side of the set...though we have no pictures to confirm lindsay’s reports.
