the oil spill in the gulf of mexico has really illustrated how precious our natural resources are and how important it's become to care for the environment. reducing waste, becoming more energy conscious, and ensuring a sustainable future is something that's really come into play in the world of print design the last several years.
there are several things to consider when becoming environmentally print conscious:
construction
phase two of our construction has begun! the sounds of hammering and the smell of drywall is in the air. our backroom storage area will soon be a reception area and conference room. stay tuned for photos and more information on our progress.
strides against breast cancer
heather and her family participated in a walk/fundraiser for breast cancer earlier in may. the funds generated from the walk are used to fight breast cancer, provide comfort and hope, and save lives. here's a link to the site for the walk.
beau's a graduate!
beau completed his internship and graduated from dmacc's graphic design program. we're very proud of him and we'll miss his hard work in the office. beau is planning on continuing his education at grand view next fall.
